NEVADA ALL-STATE PLAYERS

There are the players that have been selected by the media to the Nevada All-State Team from Liberty High School.  

2005 

KYLE SMITH

PUNTER

2ND TEAM

Kyle was the first ever All-State Player in any sport for Liberty High School.  The School opened in 2003.

TULI FAKAUHO
GUARD 
2ND TEAM

 

Tuli helped lead the Patriots to their first ever winning season, play-off berth and play-off victory with his dominating play on the offensive line.  

2010

SAM TAI

DEFENSIVE END 

1ST TEAM

 

Sam was a dominating defensive player for the Patriots and led the team with 10 1/2 sacks.  He was named Defensive MVP and earned a scholarship to UCLA

2011

NIKO KAPELI

RUNNING BACK 

1ST TEAM

 

Niko set a school record for yards, TDs, carries, and helped lead the Patriots to their second consecutive Sunrise Regional Championship.

Jordan was Mr. Everything for the Patriots in 2011.  He was a dominating Defensive lineman and Fullback.  They usually don't pick a FB for All-State but because he was so dominating they honored him with the award.

Cole had an outstanding senior season at center for the Patriots. He transferred to Liberty from Santa Monica and immediately found success.  Cole went to Saddleback Junior College and is walking on at Washington State University in 2013.

GUARD

1ST TEAM

Chris was all-league on both sides of the ball for the Patriots in 2012.  He was instrumental in the success of the team and helped lead Liberty to the Southeast division and Sunrise Regional Championship.

1ST TEAM

Austin had an amazing season in 2012.  He made 9 of 10 FGs with the only miss being a blocked kick and he was 52 for 53 on PATs.  He had 3 field goals of more than 47 yards. He also had 17 touchbacks.

Deseon set a LHS record for receiving yards (1,084) and touchdown receptions (14) in a season.  He also added 53 receptions on the season.  
2014
NOAH JEFFERSON

Noah led the Patriots with 9 1/2 Sacks in 2014.  Noah was named to the Semper-Fidalis All-American Game. He was named Southeast Division All-League at both Tightend and Defensive End.  Noah received a Scholarship to the play football at University of Southern California.

Preston led the Patriots in interceptions in 2014 with 6.  He was named Liberty defensive MVP and played multiple positions on the defense.

Alex was the unquestioned leader on the offensive line for the Patriots. He was dominating on a weekly basis and he played an important role in helping lead the Patriots to the 2nd State Championship Game appearance.

Ethan also made All-State as a defensive player in 2015, a first for any Liberty Patriot.  He led Liberty with 5 INTs and is now the career leader with 10.

Kaimi finished his 4th year as a starter on the All-State team. Kaimi was a captain on the defense and a leader both on and off the field.

Kenyon led the State in Passing Yards and in the process set a school record for most yards passing in a career.  He also quarterbacked the team to the most wins in school history (12), it's second consecutive State Championship appearance and a National Ranking for the 1st time in school history.

Darion had an amazing senior season and led the team in receptions (75) and had over 1000 yards receiving.  He finished his career as the all-time leader in school history for receptions.

Crishaun was a dominating defender for the Patriots in 2016. He led the team in tackles and set a school record for QB sacks (12).

Octavian had a great junior year and led the team in interceptions with 6.  He played corner and safety for the Patriots.

Allan Mwata was named first team All-State and was one of the emotional leaders of the Liberty Defense.  He led the team in interception and finished his career as the all-time leader in interceptions.

​
Crishaun was a dominant force on the defensive line for the Patriots and finished his career as the all-time leader in QB sacks.  He was also named Southeast Division Defensive MVP.

Kenyon made All-State for the third year in a row.  He finishes his career as the all-time leader in passing yards for the State of Nevada.  He also holds just about every Liberty School record.

Kyle finished his junior year as the team leader in tackles and played his best games in the biggest games for Liberty.  He also was a threat at TE for the Patriots.

Daniel was a physical force on the offensive line for the Patriots.  He was named team MVP and helped lead the Patriots to their first ever Sunrise Regional Championship.

Tuli made All-State for a second consecutive year with his outstanding offensive line play.  Tuli went on to play at Coffeyville Junior College and will play at UNLV in 2013.

PJ earned All-State guard after another stellar season.  PJ was a four year starter for the Patriots and was the unquestionable team leader for the team. PJ received a scholarship to play football at Southern Utah University.

Kimo led the team in sacks his senior year with 8.  He was a three year Varsity Letterman.  Kimo played at American River Junior College in 2012.

Kai had one of the most amazing senior seasons - he had 800 yards rushing, 1200 yards passing, another 350 yards receiving and accounted for 30 TDs.  However, he received All-State for defense where he had 65 tackles, and 3 INT.  Kai Received a scholarship to play at BYU

 

Jaylen set a team record for interceptions (9), had nearly 500 yards receiving and led the team in receiving TDs with 6.  He was also an excellent Punt/Kick returner for the Patriots.

Tyler was named Nevada Gatorade Player of the year and Nevada State Player of the year by the Las Vegas Review Journal for 2013.  He set State Records for passing yards in a season (3,991) and game (496) and TD passes in game (9).

Jarvis had 7 sacks and 59 tackles his senior season and was a four year varsity letterman for the Patriots.  He was named Southeast Division Defensive MVP and team Defensive MVP.  Jarvis received 18 Division 1 scholarship offers and committed to Army.

Ethan was the leading receiever in Division 1 for 2014 with 42 catches and 872 yards receiveing with 8 TDs.  He broke the Liberty receiving record for yard in a game against Las Vegas with 179 yards.  Ethan was also dominating on the defensive side of the ball as well as a kick/punt returner.

Josh was a dominating force for Liberty on both sides of the ball in 2014.  He was the unquestioned leader on the offensive line and help lead the Patriots to their 5th Consecutive Sunrise Regional Championship.

Ethan lead the Patriots in total yards, touchdowns and receiving yards in 2015. He set several team records in 2015 including scoring 7 touchdowns in one game.

Sala was a dominating offensive lineman for the Patriots his Junior year. He help lead the Patriots to their 6th Straight Sunrise Championship.

Ethan finished his spectacular career at Liberty for being named All-State for the fourth time.  He led the Patriots in receiving yards, receiving TDs and total TDs.  He finished his career as the all-time leader in receiving yards, receiving TDs, and Interceptions.  He is also second all-time in total TDs.

Will was the leader of the offensive line and a dominating run and pass blocker.  He was a team captain and played several positions on the line.

Damanhy was one of Liberty's most athletic players in 2016. He played all over the field and helped captain the Patriots to the best record in school history. He had 70 tackles and 8 QB sacks his senior season.

Sala made All-State for the 2nd year in a row in 2016 and continued to be a devastating blocker leading the team in pancakes.

Octavian was named All-State for the second consecutive season and was always matched up with the opponents best wide receiver.

Troy was dominating at Right Tackle for a Patriot team that won it's Eighth Straight Sunrise Regional Championship.

Mo was the state's leading TE in receptions and yards his sophomore year.  He was also a great run blocker for our team.

Brandon, a 2 year starter at LT was named 1st team all-state.  He was a dominating run blocker and was equally good at pass protection.  He received a full-ride scholarship to play at the University of West Virginia.

Germie finished his career at Liberty as one of the all-time great Patriots.  He was named Gatorade Player of the Year, Mountain Region Offensive MVP and Team MVP in 2021.  He was a threat every time he touched the ball.  He was all-league returner as well.

Daniel completed a magical junior season in 2019 by leading the Patriots to the 2019 Nevada State Championship.  He had an amazing statistical year finishing with 24 TD and only 1 INT and completing over 77% of his passes.

Zephaniah finished his junior season as the seasons leading tackler for the Patriots and was an absolutely devasting tackler who struck fear in opponents.

Zyrus was the team's MVP for 2019.  He excelled on both sides of the ball playing Linebacker/Safety and Running Back.  His Touchdown versus Bishop Gorman in OT will go down in Liberty History as the single greatest play ever.

Garrett was a dominate force on both sides of the ball for the Patriots his senior year.  He was named All-State at Guard and would physically man handle opponents.

Donte had a great senior season where he often covered the best receiver from the opposing team one on one.  He made one of the biggest plays in the upset win versus Bishop Gorman on 3rd and goal preventing a TD.

Anthony was a dual threat for the Patriots - playing TE and LB.  He was all-league in both positions.  Anthony received numerous scholarship offers and signed with the University of Oregon.

Cliff was an absolute beast at Middle Linebacker in 2021.  He was a hard hitter and made an impact as a defensive captain.  Cliff also played some fullback on offense.
